Mario Lazarou is the shortstack with 400,000. Morgan and Les each have over a million in chips with Les having the lead at the moment.

Les Kerrigan opens first to act raising to 50,000. Morgan Sorfleet passes on his button. Mario Lazarou calls in the small blind before Chris Gordon moves All-In from the Big Blind for his half a million in chips.

Les Kerrigan start to chat – “You better get your pen and paper ready!” he shouts over to us. He asks for an approximation of Chris’s stack and then for Mario’s “In case you want to get involved”.

Les Kerrigan

He eventually calls and Mario’s cards are in the muck as they go to showdown. When Chris sees Les’s holding he is aghast – “Were you every going to fold?”

“Probably not!” comes the reply, “But I never make snap decisions”

Chris Gordon won the London Calling Main Event in November 2011 here at Fox Poker Club with his girlfriend on the rail. He turns to her this time for luck…

“I’m ok!” he says. But when the flop comes with the in the window and , he has to revise his statement, “That’s bad…”

Indeed it comes and to send Chris out of the tournament. He collects £4,095 and goes home happy to hear that London Calling will be returning over Easter in April with it’s £500+£40 Main Event and Side Events…
