Louise Duffy, Miriam Segal and Joesfine Forssberg have all been drawn on table 8 – they don’t seem to happy about it with Louise talking about busting and re-entering to get away from the other girls. “What are the odds of this?” she asks as we pass. Well with 8 women in the field of 102 it certainly is unusual…

As we work out the math Joesefine bets 1,650 into a pot of around 2,800 against Paddy Odowd…
The board:

She takes it down…

In a multi-way pot which includes Carlo Citrone, Katt Wann bets 250 on a flop of . Katt was the runner up in October’s Tournament Leaderboard narrowly missing out on the top spot to Barney Koumis on the last day of play. He’s called by Robert Parkin and the others drop out.

On the turn : Jd Katt bets 325 in position and is called. The river changes little but now Robert bets out 1,700. Katt quickly calls and as soon as he does Robert throws his cards in the muck. “Welcome to the table” says Carlo to Katt who had just sat down as a late entry we are up to 108 players so far…

As we join the action on table 3 Chuck Clarke who was runner up in August’s London Calling Main Event, has bet 2,400 into Marc Convey with the board reading . Marc pumps it up to 5,000 total and then declares “Full house” when Chuck calls, he  tables  .

Chuck can only say: “Nice Hand” and Marc says he was worried as he placed pocket sevens well in Chuck’s range but he must have had the overpair.

We begin level 2 – blinds are now 50-100. We have 109 runners so far and have had one re-entry. £55,000 so far collected in prizes.

Reza folds his cards in anger throwing them into the table with enough force to send them flying. Gholam cashed in Thursday’s £100+£10 Side Event which attracted 127 players.

James Alsop up to 35,000
