It’s been a blockbuster 2012 so far at the Fox Poker Club… 191 entries into the £5,000 GTD tournament on Boxing Day and a record breaking 213 entries into the New Years £10,000 Guaranteed Event. With over 300 people turning up to play we are sorry that some players left disheartened by the waiting list but we eventually got everyone in who stuck around. Congratulations to John Burberry who took down the £5,000 top prize out of the £21,300 prizepool.

Keeping the 2012 momentum going this weekend we have the monthly £300+£30 FPC Main Event with it’s £100+£10 Sunday Side Event at 3pm which has just had a £5,000 GUARANTEED PRIZEPOOL added to it. The rumour is that the Guarantees have been so successful that there may be a weekly £100+£10 tournament with a Guarantee debuting in February.

Don’t miss your last chances to qualify for the FPC Main Event including the last chance turbo at 12pm on Saturday. The £300+£30 FPC Main Event starts Saturday at 3pm with late registration until 5:30pm…

The blinds are up to 75-150. The players will get a 15 minute break at the end of this level when registration will close. 135 entries so far mean that the players are playing for a £40,500 prizepool. A great turnout…

An early faller is David McConachie who was the FPC-ME Champion in March 2011. He was victim of a cooler when his flopped set of tens ran into a set of queens. David seemed more interested in the cash games than taking the option of his re-entry. The club has £1-£1 cash running now with lists for £1-£3 and Round of Each.
