Albert had only just managed to order his first cup of tea and he was dealt
. With the blinds at 25-50 Glenn Eriksson limps under the gun and Albert raises from the small blind to 350. When the blig blind The Bui calls, Glenn springs the trap and raises to 1050 total. They see a flop three way and Albert is looking a little wary of the betting pattern.
The flop comes

Albert and The check to the agressor Glenn who fires out a continuation bet of 1,825 which Sapiano calls and then fires out a bet on the turn. It’s not clear to us on the rail how much he has bet but he has used a 10,000 chip. Erikkson thinks a good a while before pushing all-in. Sapiano declares – “If you got the aces good luck to ya!” and puts his stack in and tables his Kings.
Erikkson says, “No aces, I’ve got trips” and tables
.
The inconsequential
on the river changed nothing. The table was full of analysis of the preflop action – “Well now we know!”. declares Miriam Segal pulling her attention from the movie script she appears to be reading.
Table 1 lines up with a few familar faces including Jen-Yue Chiang who is a serial casher in FPC Main Events including securing a three way chop a in the May FPC Main Event.
As we watch the action on Table 1 Omar Mohamud is playing a pot against West End regular Michael Asslanian. Omar has the nut flush and gets action from Michael who has an up and down straight flush draw before making a straight on the river. There seems to be a little confusion as Omar has check called Michael’s bets all the way to the river before making what is taken by the dealer to be a minimum raise on the river. It’s not clear whether Omar intended to bet more but Michael seems to be happy to have got away cheaply.

As we pass table 4, Peter Burford originally from Seattle who came 6th in July’s FPC Main Event is in a pot with Sir Clive Sinclair… Sir Clive makes a small bet into the orphaned pot on the river. Peter calls and when Sir Clive shows Seven-Deuce he almost reads it only as the bottom pair of deuces and begins to show his hand to claim the pot. He realises his mistake though in time – Sir Clive has rivered two pair.
