Play in underway in today’s Asian Poker Tour London at the Fox Poker Club. We have 95 players battling it out to the Champion of this first ever APT event in Europe. They are starting with 20,000 chips and a 45 minute clock. Late registration and re-entry is available until 5:30pm so we are hoping for a field of over 100 entries and a £50,000 prize pool.

In the field today are Surinder Sunar, Pryian De Mel and APT Goa High Roller Champion Phil Sanders.
As we join the action on Table 7 The Hendon Mob’s Barny Boatman is taking his seat as a late entry. Gary Ong limps with the blinds at 75-150 and Martin Spearing limps along too in the next seat. Martin a familiar face on in London poker rooms looks disappointed when everyone else folds apart from Christian Middleboe who makes up the small blind and James “Barney” Koumis who checks in the big blind.

which they all check.
The turn comes 
to make it a low board perhaps suited to the blind hands. Christian thinks so and bets out 400, Barney calls and the pot goes heads up. Barney regularly tops the Fox Poker Club’s Tournament Leaderboard and has cashed in previous monthly £300+£30 FPC Main Event.

A serious looking character in seat 7 with hoody pulled up and mirrored sunglasses check raises to 2025 total and Priyan throws his cards away quickly. The game goes on with the number of entries up to 119 we are one entry (or re-entry) away from a £60,000 prizepool.
