Thursday 5th August 2010 – The Fox Poker Club in association with PKR.com regrets to announce that the official opening of London’s first ever premier poker club will be delayed.
The decision to postpone the opening due to technical issues was made reluctantly, but it was the preferred option to ensure a successful launch.
Chris North, managing director of Fox Poker Club, comments:
“Our final inspections before opening raised a few technical issues which though easily resolvable, mean we’re going to have to put back the opening.
“This is obviously very frustrating but we want to make sure everything is perfect; we’re raring to go and we’d like to apologise to the thousands of people who have already signed up for their free membership. We can however assure them that they will be able to enjoy the pleasures of London’s first ever poker club very soon.”
If you have not been contacted by one of our team already and were due to come to the launch party tomorrow night you will of course be invited to the new launch party, the date of which will be confirmed in the coming weeks.
